Being clean in the capital

I have had to go to London fairly frequently in the last 3-4 months and I am very pleased to have my trusty anti-bacterial handwipes with me :)

I think it is something about travelling on trains, then touching underground handrails and generally being in London that makes me really want to wash my hands when I get to my destination, and then when I get home.

Ah. there is nothing like clean hands.

I've lived there too long (and as a child) so I don't have handrail issues (altho I might have to develop them now you mention them) but I hate (/secretly love - it's so grim!) blowing my nose after a day in London. MAN oh MAN is that an eyeopener. I'm never gonna cycle in central london. x

You are gross but I fully understand. However, I don't seem to get that anymore - could it be that the capital has got cleaner because of the congestion charge? (possibly they monitor the effectiveness of it through snot-blackness?).
